Be the first one to wear Nakshi - Paithani Inspired Festive Jewels

For all those who are looking for some latest designs to buy this Dhanteras and Diwali, PNG Jewellers' latest offering 'Nakshi - Paithani Inspired Festive Jewel' is must-see for you. At first instance, it may appear to be a rich ethnic collection from traditional India and rightly so. It's big on aesthetics, intricately designed and yes, rich to look at too. However, that's not about it. The designs have been adapted from our rich textile craft Paithani that is not just the pride of Paithan (Aurangabad) but the whole of Maharahstra, if not India.

The motifs, the Narali Kaath patterns, the designs, everything is beautifully captured to create its jewellery counterpart and the results are outstanding! Talk about variations in peacock designs. Some of them are truly first-of-its-kind. Even there is ample use of other adornments like Kundan, cabache stones, enamelling, beads, south sea pearls, etc., to amp up the look. To bring in the essence of its saree variant, in one of the sets silk thread has also been used. There is also no dearth of twisted wire filigree work that infuses a traditional feel into the designs. Carved in gold, the sets - comprising of a pair of earrings, a choker and a necklace, have been given an antique look and feel but as per the customer's preference, they can also be customised into other finishes too.

At present, the collection has been made available only in PNG Jewellers' physical stores. There is a dedicated section for this latest collection. Women who are turning up for their festival purchases are giving it a try for sure. But those who can't make it to the store, worry not. Soon the collection would also be made available on their online store too: www.pngadgil.com

Till then, have a look at some of the designs and let us know your views in the comments section.
