Where to buy an authentic Putli Haar from?

Love Maharashtrian jewellery ? Then I am sure you are also a fan of Putli Haar. A lot of you must have already bought one. But wait a minute. Are you sure, you own an authentic Putli Haar ? I am neither talking about the purity of gold nor emphasizing on the genuineness of stones used in it. Instead I am stressing upon the design. Yes you heard that right. The design. Kudi earrings is one of the most popular traditional Maharashtrian jewellery. Essentially, it is designed by stringing pearls together into a floral pattern. The string used to hold the pearls together may be made of gold or a nylon thread. While it is an out and out handmade jewel, it amps up the wearer's festive look.  But with time, this traditional jewel underwent a major makeover. Instead of pearls, now it is also designed into gold. The look and feel of the beads are achieved by carving it in gold.
