Gwalior has a rich heritage, history and tradition. In the past, it has been ruled by many kingdoms, each - from Tomars to Marathas and Scindias, influencing its culture and art. Even tribals living here contribute greatly in building the legacy that it boasts of. But predominantly, it is an excellent amalgamation of Bundeli and Braj traditions that reflects in its costume and lifestyle.
